Local Project Coordinator - UniPd
I am Professor of Sociology and Department associate chair at the Department of Political Science, Law and International Studies (SPGI) of the University of Padova – Italy.
My background includes theoretical and empirical work in the field of education and socialization processes.
My main interest for KIDS4ALLL lies in understanding how peer relationships can contribute to both social integration and the improvement of academic success in multiethnic and multicultural educational environments.

I deal with education and socialization processes. In this domain, one special point in my recent research has been the study of how social and emotional skills may be enhanced in the schooling process. I also deal with education policy and some related issues. The other major part of my work lies in social theory and cultural sociology.

I work as Assistant Professor of Sociology and Social network analysis at the Department of Political Science, Law and International Studies, University of Padova – Italy. With a background as sociologist, I am specialized in the risk behavior field, innovative social intervention programs, and ego-centered networks.
My interest for KIDS4ALLL is linked to the investigation of the role of immigrant minor support networks in their integration process.

Researcher
I am graduated in Psychology at the University of Padova, where I also obtained a Ph.D. in Sociology: Communicative and Intercultural Processes in the Public Sphere. I am Associate professor in Sociology of culture and communication at the University of Padova, Department of Political Science, Law and International Studies (SPGI).
I’m Chair of the Second cycle Degree Course Teachers’ Council in Innovation and Social Work and I teach “Analysis of Socio-cultural Change”, “Social Work Methods 1” and “Sociology of Intercultural Relations”.
My interest for KIDS4ALLL deals with micro level/individual dimension of the empirical research on educators and social workers.
My research interests concern socialization and education processes, with particular focus on identity and new media, intercultural relationships and social work.

Ph.D. in Sociology of Migration, MA in Intercultural and Interreligious Conflicts Management, Accredited Lecturer in Intercultural Management by Hofstede Insights, I have worked as a researcher, consultant and trainer for universities, research institutes, corporations and not-for-profit organizations in Europe, North America, Africa and the Middle East.
I strongly believes in the power of the peer to peer and of the learning by doing. My aim is always bridging research with practice and fieldwork.

Senior Assistant Professor
Senior Assistant Professor at the University of Padova. I teach Introduction to Sociology and Social Policies and welfare cultures.
I’m interested in doing research for KIDS4ALLL because it’s related to one of my field of study and I want to deepen my understanding in integration policies impact.
My research interests focus on social innovation, social policies, cultural transformations in youth studies.
